Vouching is a public way to say you trust a person on certain topics. It gives them a real head start in how your circle sees them, so good people get noticed sooner.
Where to find it: Go to the person's profile and click Vouch near their picture. You can also vouch from a crewmate's face in a crew's People view.
Vouch for a person
- Open their profile and click Vouch.
- Pick 1 to 4 topics you trust them on. You can search for a topic or pick from the suggestions.
- Click Vouch to confirm.
A vouch is strong. On each topic you pick, it counts about the same as voting for them 20 times, so you will see more of their posts and ideas in that area. The person gets a notification telling them you vouched. When someone vouches for you, that notice (and the email) offers a Vouch back button so you can return the favor from their profile.
Changing your mind
If your trust changes, open the person's profile, click the three-dots menu, and choose Downvouch. This records strong distrust: from your point of view, their content will score near zero no matter who else vouches for them. Only use it when you really mean it.
