Search helps you find what you're looking for fast: a person, a topic, a group, or a conversation you half remember. One box covers all of it.
Where to find it: Use the search box at the top of the page. It reads Find conversations you trust. As you type, a live dropdown of matches appears. Use the arrow keys and Enter to pick one, or press Enter on your words to open the full results page, which also updates as you type.
What you can find
Search looks across the whole site and sorts your results into groups:
- People. Find someone by name and open their profile.
- Topics. Jump to a topic and its conversations.
- Groups. Find a group by its name or what it's about.
- Content. Find posts and conversations that match your words.
Narrowing your results
At the top of the results you'll see tabs: All, People, Topics, Groups, and Content. Start with All to see a bit of everything, then tap a tab to see just that kind of result. If a search comes up empty, try fewer words or a different spelling.
