A new account opens straight into the feed. For your first week, a few cards in it help you make it yours. Each one is optional, and the feed changes as you go.
Where to find it: On your home page, between the posts. If you closed Make it yours, open your account menu and choose Show “Make it yours”. Click your name at the bottom of the left sidebar, or on a phone, tap your picture at the top left.
The cards
- Your AI assistant can make this a breeze. Pick Claude, ChatGPT or Grok, add UpTrust to it, and paste the sentence we give you. It writes your introduction and your open questions, which go up as asks. See Connect an AI assistant.
- What do you want more of? Tap a few topics. Each tap follows the topic, and the posts below move.
- People and groups. Up to five, each with the reason we offer it. Follow or join, and their posts rise in your feed.
- Make it yours. Follow three people or groups, reply to a post, and uptrust someone on a topic you know them for. Each row takes you to where you do it.
Following is not trust. When you know someone on a topic, you can uptrust them there, and that shapes what others see.
Quests and badges
Your account menu always has a Quest entry that takes you to your quest page, where you can keep earning badges.
