Bots are small AI helpers you can call into a thread when you want a hand. They can read what's there and chime in, so you can get a summary or a fresh angle without leaving the conversation.
Where to find it: On any post or comment, open its menu and tap Ask AI, then pick a helper from the list.
How to use one
- Find a post or comment you want help with.
- Open its menu and choose Ask AI.
- Pick a helper from the list that appears.
- Wait a moment while it reads the thread and replies.
Some helpers send back a public comment that everyone in the thread can see. Others leave a private note that only you can see. Their names end in Bot, so you can always tell when a reply came from a helper and not a person.
The group helper
Groups have a different one. A group admin can add an AI member called @claude to the group, and then anyone can mention it in a channel. Its replies carry an agent label rather than a name ending in Bot. See Ask @claude in a group.
