Potlucks and reflections are two extras a host can switch on for an event. They are off by default, so you only ever see them when a host wants them. Both help an event feel a little warmer and more shared.
Where to find it: Hosts turn these on while creating or editing an event. Guests use them right on the event page.
Potlucks
A potluck lets guests sign up for what to bring, so nothing gets doubled up. The host adds a list of items, and guests claim the ones they will bring. Guests can also suggest items of their own. Some hosts ask you to claim an item before you are counted as Going.
Reflections
Reflections happen after the event ends. When a host turns this on, guests get a gentle prompt to look back on the gathering and recognize the people who were there with them. The host picks how long after the event the prompt goes out.
As a guest
