Install UpTrust on your iPhone or Android phone.

UpTrust has a free app for iPhone and Android. It signs you in to the same account you use on the website, so your posts, groups, and chats are already there when you open it.

Where to find it: Search for UpTrust Inc. in the App Store, or UpTrust on Google Play. Direct links are below.

Install it

The two store names differ because another app already owns UpTrust on the App Store. Once it is installed, the icon on your home screen says UpTrust either way.

Open it and sign in with your email and password. On Android there is a Google button too, and on iPhone an Apple button. Nothing needs moving across. If you do not have an account yet, make one on the website first. See create your account.

What you can do in the app

  • Read and write. Your home feed, replies, votes, and drafts.
  • Groups. Open a group and post in its channels and threads.
  • Chats. Send and read direct messages.
  • Keep up. Your inbox, search, topics, events, and people.

Notifications on your phone

The app can alert your phone when someone replies to you or messages you. The first time you open the Inbox tab, your phone asks whether to allow that. If you said no and changed your mind, turn UpTrust notifications back on in your phone settings.

You still pick which kinds reach you, in notification settings.

Some things are on the website only

The app does not have everything yet. Open UpTrust in your phone browser to bring an introduction from your AI, to connect an assistant, or to read bridges and your Mirror. The app shows the plain notification list rather than the ranked inbox.
