Poll for a time

Let people vote on when to meet, then make it an event.

A time poll helps a group pick when to meet. After voting ends, the host can turn the winning time into an event.

Where to find it: Start a new post, add a poll, then switch the poll type from Poll to Times.

Add the times

Each option has a date and time field. You can add a custom label too, but the time can label itself if you leave that field blank.

Time polls default to a multiple-choice vote, so people can check every time that works for them.

Let voters add times

Open the poll menu and turn on Let voters add times. While the poll is open, signed-in voters can add another time with Add a time.

Make the event

When the poll is closed, the author sees Create event from winning slot. That opens the new event form with the title and winning time filled in. You can still edit the event before creating it.

If there is a tie

UpTrust asks the host which tied time to schedule. It does not pick one for you.
