When you host an event, a small set of tools shows up on the event page just for you. They help you fill the room and keep your guests in the loop without much fuss.
Where to find it: Open your event from Events. The host tools sit near the top of the page.
Inviting people
Tap Invite & Share to bring guests in. You can invite people already on UpTrust, send invites by email, or copy a share link to post anywhere. Pending invites stay listed so you can resend or remove them.
Keeping guests posted
- Message. Send a note to your guests. You can pick who gets it: everyone, just the Going crowd, the Maybe crowd, or people who have not replied yet. To keep it from feeling like spam, you can send one message per guest group every 24 hours. In the last 6 hours before the event, you also get up to 2 extra messages for any last-minute changes.
- Reminders. Tap Remind to email everyone who said Going or Maybe. You can send one reminder every 24 hours, so it never feels like spam.
- Co-hosts. While inviting, you can make someone a co-host. Co-hosts can invite people, manage guests, and send updates. Only you, the host, can add or remove co-hosts.
Make a copy
To run a similar event again, open your event and click Clone event at the bottom of the host tools. A new event form opens with the details filled in. When you create it, the guests from the first event are invited again. In the app, tap Duplicate event in the host actions. The app cannot copy an event that has a price, so copy those on the website.
