Your profile is your home on UpTrust. A clear picture and a short bio help people figure out who you are, so the right folks find you and trust you faster.
Where to find it: Click your name at the bottom of the left sidebar, then choose Profile. On your own profile, you edit things right where they sit.
Fill out your profile
- Under your name, click Add a tagline / short bio... and type the one line people see. Press Save. Click the line again any time to change it.
- Open the About tab. Click any field to edit it: a longer story about you, your Location, Credentials, Work, what you are Looking for, what people can Ask me about, and your Links. Press Save under each one.
- Hover over your picture and click the camera icon to upload a new one.
If you linked your X account in connected accounts, your profile shows your @handle with a small X mark next to your join date. Anyone can click it to open your X page. To hide it, turn off Show @yourhandle on my profile in the same place.
Your profile tabs
Across the top of your profile are tabs that hold different parts of your activity:
- Home and Activity show what you have posted and done.
- Trust shows the topics people trust you on. Read how trust works to learn more.
- Collections holds posts you have saved into collections.
- Bridges shows your bridge posts, and About shows the details you filled in.
A picture helps
Profiles with a real photo and a short bio tend to earn trust sooner. It takes a minute and makes you easier to recognize.
