RSVP to an event

Say you're going and see who else is.

Replying to an event lets the host plan and lets you see who else is coming. It takes one tap, and you can change your mind any time.

Where to find it: Open the event from Events, then pick your reply near the top.

How to reply

  1. Open the event page.
  2. Choose Going, Maybe, or Can't go.
  3. That is it. Your reply saves right away, and you can switch it later.

After you reply

Once you say Going or Maybe, a few things open up. You can see the full guest list, post on the event's wall to chat with other guests, and use the calendar links to drop it into Google Calendar, Apple Calendar, or download a .ics file. If the event repeats, the export adds the whole series.

Anyone can share a public event with the Share button, not only the host.

If the event is online, the Join event link shows up on the event page after you reply Going or Maybe. We also send the link in your confirmation email and in the reminder before the event starts.

Can't see the reply buttons?

Some events ask for a trust level before you can join, and some are invite only. If you cannot reply, the host may not have invited you yet.
