Email, password, and phone

Keep your account safe and up to date.

Your email, password, and phone number live in the Account section of Settings. Keeping them current means you can always get back in and stay reachable.

Where to find it: Open Settings and look for the Account card.

Change your password

  1. In the Account card, click Change Password.
  2. Type your current password, then a new one with at least 8 characters.
  3. Click Save Changes.

Pick something long that you don't use anywhere else. If you ever forget it, you can reset it from the login page.

If you arrived from an email link (for example the weekly digest), you'll be asked to sign in fully before changing your password or email, or deleting your account.

Email and phone

Click Edit next to your email to update it. Your phone number is optional. When you add one, UpTrust sends a code by text and you type it back in to confirm the number is really yours. A confirmed phone lets you get some alerts by text instead of email.

Tip

Changing your password signs out anyone using your account, including on other devices. If you think someone got in, change your password right away.
