Bridges

A bridge is a third comment that two people who disagree both endorse. UpTrust highlights these because it's the opposite of an echo chamber, while preserving generative disagreement.

Browse open requests and write a synthesis. When people on both sides upvote it, you earn trust from both sides.

The asker can spotlight up to three answers. The asker and everyone who boosts the request gain standing when later voters agree with those answers, and lose it when they don't.

When your answer is spotlighted or fills an open spot, everyone who asked for it or boosted the request gets a note that it's up. For a week, people who trust them see it higher in their feed, and it climbs or fades with how the voters they trust receive it.

Write a troll post and expect the downvotes to land on you and everyone who upvoted it.
